The 30th edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy is scheduled for April 4th – 7th at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato. More than 240 drivers coming from 40 different Countries at the start.

All is set to celebrate another successful edition, the 30th, of the Andrea Margutti Trophy. The race will take place at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato on April 4-7th.

 

The event of the 30th Andrea Margutti Trophy has a great entry list featuring more than 240 drivers that will compete in the categories KZ2, 60 Mini, OK, OK-Junior, Iame X30 Senior and, exceptionally, on the historic KFA karts that will reproduce the unforgettable sound that characterized the racing debut of the Andrea Margutti Trophy in 1990.

 

The 30th edition set a record in terms of countries represented: 40. Denmark will have an impressive 36 drivers, while 100 drivers are coming from Italy. The other Nations are Andorra, United Arab Emirates, Argentine, Austria, Bulgaria, Belarus, Brazil, Switzerland, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Indonesia, India, Jamaica, South Korea, Mexico, Holland, Norway, New Zealand, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine and Uruguay. The team fielding the highest number of drivers is Team Driver with its 13 racers.

 

The most crowded category is also the most powerful, KZ2, where the spectacle will be granted by around 70 entered drivers, 60 Mini will have 50 drivers at the start, OK-Junior 40, OK more than 20, Iame X30 Senior 36 and KFA 30.

 

The provisional program of the 30th Andrea Margutti Trophy:

Thursday, April 4th: Free practice from 8.30 to 17.50; Sporting Scrutineering KZ2 at 13.00, 60 Mini at 14.10, OK-Junior at 15.20, X30 Senior at 16.10, OK at 16.50.

Friday, April 5th: Sporting scrutineering (KFA) from 8.30 to 9.30; timed free practice from 9.00 to 13.00; Technical scrutineering from 9.40 to 14.00; Briefing from 11.00 to 13.30; practice from 13.00 to 15.15; Qualifying practice from 15.30 to 17.50.

Saturday, April 6th: Warm-up and KFA Qualifying from 8.30 to 11.00; Qualifying heats from 11.20 to 18.30.

Sunday, April 7th: Warm-up from 8.30 to 10.20; Second chance races at 10.25; Prefinals at 11.45; OK Final at 14.20, OK-Junior Final at 14.50, 60 Mini Final at 15.20; KZ2 Final at 15.50; X30 Senior Final at 16.20; KFA Final at 16.50; Prize Ceremony at 18.00.
