The race organized by Parma Motorsport counts in fact over 290 drivers for the appointment of April 1-3 at the South Garda Karting of Lonato. This is the new participation record for the event that was started back in 1990 in memory of the young Andrea Margutti, who passed away at only 14 years of age. Since then, the Margutti family together with all the drivers and mates of Andrea like Jarno Trulli and Giancarlo Fisichella wanted an event to honour his memory.
Entry lists are full.
The 33rd edition of the event features full entry lists in MINI with 108 drivers and KZ2 with 72 drivers, but the other categories will have important numbers too as 25 drivers will be present in OK-Junior, 35 in X30 Junior and 52 in X30 Senior. The total is of 292 drivers!
43 Nations represented.
In total, 43 countries will be represented in this event. Sweden is the most highly represented country with 19 drivers, while Team Driver Racing Kart is the biggest team with 23 participants. This is a big step forward for the Andrea Margutti Trophy compared to the past few editions as in 2021 the 260 entered drivers came from 37 countries.
