After the first two days dedicated to qualifying practice and heats, the 34th Trofeo Andrea Margutti organized by Parma Motorsport is ready for the final stages on Sunday, March 19th at South Garda Karting in Lonato. The live streaming on the website www.trofeomargutti.com will start at 11:20 with the Prefinals, and from 14:20 with the Finals of OK-Junior, MINI Gr3 Under 10, MINI Gr.3, KZ2, X30 Senior and X30 Junior.
So far, several exciting battles have already been run in this 34th edition, with Saturday’s heats having the task of defining the major protagonists of all categories, and particularly to name the main candidates to sign the prestigious roll of honor of the Andrea Margutti Trophy, that has been inaugurated in 1990 with Giancarlo Fisichella and Andrea Belicchi.
KZ2 – Maragliano and Bertuca all set for the final challenge.
At the end of the KZ2 heats, Alex Maragliano (Maranello SRP/Maranello-TM-Vega) holds the provisional leadership with two heat victories, ahead of the rising star Cristian Bertuca (KCS/BirelART-TM) who won one heat. The performance of a veteran like Davide Forè (Renda Motorsport/Sodikart-TM) was also impressive. The driver already won the Margutti Trophy in 2015, and in this edition he is among the best with two second places in the heats. In the provisional standings, Forè is in fifth position, just behind Markus Kajak (KH Racing Team/BirelART-Modena) and Tim Troger (Maranello SRP/Maranello-TM).

OK-JUNIOR – Cosma Cristofor is leading the pack.
In OKJ, David Cosma Cristofor (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame-Vega) swept the field with three wins in the three heats run. Lec Krutogolov (Borsch Racing/Tony Kart-Iame), after the pole position in qualifying, is now second, while Benett Gaspar (IPK Official/IPK-TM) is third third. Regarding the other positions, Qarrar Firhand (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame) took fourth place, ahead of Fred Saareks (Ward Racing/LN-Vortex), Juliusz Ociepa (Gold Kart/Ridolfi Righetti-Iame), Simon Rechenmacher (TB Racing Team/KR-Iame) and Pavel Vimmer (Vimmerova/KR-TM).

X30 JUNIOR – Hat trick for Ferrari.
Riccardo Ferrari (M2 Racing/Tony Kart-Iame-Komet) dominated the X30 Junior category, achieving a clean sweep from pole position in qualifying to victory in all three heats. On the other hand, Filippo Sala (Team Driver/Tony Kart-Iame) made a misstep, as he slipped to 16th position in the third and final heat after two excellent second-place finishes, putting him only in fifth place in the provisional standings. Therefore, Albert Fulgori (Fulgori/Tony Kart-Iame) took second place, while Riccardo Paniccià (Paniccià/Tony Kart-Iame) secured third. Fabio Reale (LA Motorsport/Falcon-Iame) was fourth. Filippo Pancotti (Team Driver/Tony Kart-Iame) also finished well in the heats, taking sixth place.

X30 SENIOR – Comanducci flies away.
The challenge on the reigning champion Danny Carenini is in full swing. The pack was led by Cristian Comanducci (PRK/Tony Kart-Iame), who won the first heat, and Brando Pozzi (M2 Racing/Tony Kart-Iame), winner of the third heat, who are installed in the first two positions of the provisional classification. Federico Rossi (PRK/Tony Kart-Iame) won the second heat and took fourth place, tightening the grip on Carenini who is currently third. The fifth place went to Giacomo Maman (TB Kart Racing Team/TB Kart-Iame) who is building some experience in the senior category. Colin Wurthenberger (KGT Motorsport/Tony Kart-Iame) had to settle for eighth place after setting the pole position in qualifying.

MINI Gr.3 – Arias Chavarri is in the lead but he is chased by strong contenders.
Bosco Arias Chavarri (Team Driver/KR-Iame-Vega) won his two heats and climbed to the first position, but the competition is rather remarkable. All the top-ranked drivers are capable of winning the final victory, all have experience and are accustomed to success, starting with William Calleja (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame), who closely follows thanks to his success in the first heat. Vladimir Ivannikov (Gamoto/EKS-TM) also proved to be competitive in third position. He was followed by Bogdan Cosma Cristofor (Team Driver/KR-Iame), by the author of the pole position Gianmatteo Rousseau (Kidix/KR-Iame), Ilie Crisan Tristan (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex) and the other two BabyRace drivers, Iskender Zulfikari and Riven Esteves.
Classification after the heats: 1. Ariaa Chavarri pen. 0; 2. Calleja 2; 3. Ivannikov 5; 4. Cosma Cristofor 5; 5. Rousseau 8; 6. Crisan 10; 7. Zulfikari 11; 8. Esteves 14.
MINI Gr.3 Under 10 – Tamm leads the pack thanks to two placings.
Three heats with three different winners, all of whom were already protagonists in the qualifying rounds. The first to cross the finish line victorious in the heats was Oleksandr Legenkyi (Team Driver/KR-Iame-Vega). He was followed by Niccolò Perico (Energy Corse/Energy-TM) and Matteis Stigsen (AF Competition/Parolin-TM). However, Albert Tamm (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) is at the top of the provisional classification thanks to a second and third place, followed by Perico and poleman Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex). Jason Kosmopoulos (Cosmorally/Energy-TM) also claimed an excellent fourth place, after setting the fastest time in qualifying in Session-1.
